• Description

  Tsugumi is sort of the brains of the operation. While at times he can be a little gloomy and he's not very physically strong, he has common sense that a lot of his younger friends don't really have. If he finds you annoying, don't expect him to put up with you. He'll try not to be rude, but he's not going to go out of his way to be your pal unless you're extremely persistent (like Liz). He spends a lot of his time reading, sketching an trying to get things done efficiently. He also enjoys being outside and will move activities out there whenever possible.
  It takes a fair amount of effort to get Tsugumi out of his emotional comfort zone. He's become more expressive over time with people that he knows and trusts. If you do manage to get him upset, he'll likely be upset for a while, not necessarily with you, but more frequently with himself. While he dislikes people who spend a ton of time self loathing, he can be sent into spells of it himself, which usually makes him more disappointed in himself. It's a cycle, alright.
  Otherwise, he's usually spending time with Kouta, his fiance. The two are very close, while they do have their arguments.

• Background

  True Story
  Tsugumi (which is apparently a girl's name, but I don't intend on changing it), for the most part, grew up in a boarding school in an alternate dimension Japan (explaining the teal hair).This version of Japan exists on an alternate Earth where the whole planet is ruled by an oligarchy. He always took an interest in nature and inhuman creatures. His family went missing while he was in school. Eventually, he ran away from the boarding school and into the forest where he met Kouta and some other friends he would hold onto. Eventually, Liz brought him and his friends into his current dimension of residence.
  
  Alternate Past
  (This is the background that would be used in a story where things like dimension traveling and such is not possible in which he's just a normal person)
  Tsugumi went to a boarding school for most of his life. He never made many friends at the school and instead picked up most of his friends at the park owned by the school. Other kids weren't really supposed to go in it, so technically they were delinquents. Despite that, he found more comfort in them than the others in the school. The school became aware that his parents weren't in good shape marital wise and counselors actually prolonged his stay. Eventually, he figured this out and left the school at 16, going off to live on his own.
